With ChangeRequest’s embedded screen capture tool, Project Managers, Analysts and Clients can demonstrate and describe the project or cases more easily. It allows them to screen grab, crop, highlight, comment and explain what needs to be done. What’s more amazing about this tool is that the screen shots can be saved instantly and can be attached to an existing case in just a click of the mouse.

- In the login page of your account, you will see the screenshot tool being featured. Click on the Download Now link within the area and Save the file.
- Extract the file. Then, click on the executable CRScreenshotSetup inside it to start the installation.
Note: An indicator of a successful installation is the
icon that will start appearing in your system tray.


- Go to the page which screen you want to capture.
- Click on
icon found in your system tray. - In the right hand side of the tool’s interface, click on the tool that you want to use. You may choose one from the following:
Note: If you want to set the color for the tool that you will use, click on the desired color in the color widget.
- After clicking on a tool (and a color), drag the mouse pointer to the area in the captured screen where you want to apply the changes.
- To save the final screenshot in your local computer, click on the Save to disk button found on the upper-left hand portion of the tool’s interface.
- To attach the screenshot to an existing case, go to the Select a Request panel then do the following:
- Select the Exiting Request option then type the Case Number in the box provided.
- Click on the Submit button. After doing this, you will be asked to log into your account. Once logged in, you will see the case form where the screenshot was attached to.
