Time Tracking Reports allow the Project Manager (with productivity reports permission) to view time entries made by Analysts and other PM’s.These reports enable them to monitor how much time is utilized on a certain task in any given project. Additionally, they provide insight on how long a specific person (or user) usually works on a certain type of task.
There are two options when it comes to generating a time tracking report. One way to generate such a report is through an XLS report which can be downloaded and saved in the local computer, the other one is through utilizing an On Screen Report (screen shot/ image format).

The generated report can be grouped either by project or by user.
Group by Project – Lists all time entries and groups those entries according to the project they are associated with
Group by User – Lists the name of all users as well as the time entries they have created

- Go to Reports > Time Tracking Report.
- Select a Group by option by clicking on one of the radio buttons. This option will have the generated report be grouped either by Project or by User.
- If you want to filter the report by use of certain parameters, do the following:
- Type the Company name. As you type the first letters of the company name, the list of companies that match your entry will appear. To avoid committing typo error, please use the list. After you supply a company, the Project will auto-display those projects associated with the company name you typed in.
- Select the Project you want to generate a report on. You can also select several Projects using Ctrl + select.
- Select a User. If you select none, the system will pull up all time entries associated with the project name specified. You can also select several Users using Ctrl + select.
- Select a Work Type. If none is selected, the system will pull up all time entries associated with the project name specified regardless of the work type. You can also select several Work Types using Ctrl + select.
- Set the Date. This is where you can specify the date as to when the system should start pulling up time entries for the report. It also displays the last 4 months wherein you can just click on a month and the From and To fields will be automatically set to the covered dates.
- Do any of the following:
- To generate an On Screen Report, click on the Generate on Screen Report button.
- To generate an XLS report, click on the Generate .XLS report button. A pop up window will then appear allowing you to either open or save the .XLS file on your computer.
